By looking at these paintings, the first impression you get is that this is the work of a painter who uses unusually strong figuration and whose drawings reminiscent of what used to be good in Bosnia. It is wonderful that this young man synthesizes a type of an artistic experience which has almost vanished in the times when painting in Sarajevo was a part of a positive trend. Back then, combined people and nations, under the good control of the government, managed to create good things in painting, short and long movie, and literature from time to time – said Kusturica.
